Border Cuisine is a party on wheels. Meet Claudia and you will clearly see that her excitement towards her business keeps her going every day. She loves to cook, and that passion led her to start her own business.

How They Got Rolling
“Ever since I was little, I always liked to cook” says, Claudia. Though she went to school to be a dental assistant, her passion for cooking was always present. Much of her training came from cooking for all of her events at work. With the help of many of her friends, she was able to start Border Cuisine and turn her hobby into a business.

Why She Does It
The beginning can be hard. You need passion to make it through. “There are some days that are not so good for us, but we are doing what we love so it keeps us motivated.” There are hard times in life for everyone, and business owners are definitely included, but the good tends to outweigh the bad if you are doing what you love.

Entrepreneurial Advice
Some people are told that their dreams are unrealistic, and can’t be achieved.  Claudia wants you to know that you can achieve your dreams if you put your mind to it. “Don’t let anybody tell you that you cannot do it, because you will always be able to. If you really believe in yourself and you believe in what you are doing, there is always a way to do it. It might be hard at the beginning, and you might feel like you are not going to be successful, but it will work out in the end— I’m sure of it.”
